You know that look your gun gets after a 100 meter crawl through the mud in the rain? Now you can have that look on any gun, even if it never actually goes to a game.
Materials:
-Krylon Fusion Camouflage paints:
Tan
Brown
Green
Black
-A sponge
-Latex gloves
-Drop cloths/newspapers etc
Disclaimer: Paint is permanent. Test this pattern on a test object (such as the official Airsoft Review CYMA spring pistol) before doing your replica.
1. Paint your replica with a flat black base coat, let dry
2. Cut your sponge into smaller pieces. I used a small triangle about 1” long
3. Spray the small pieces with paint
4. Alternate between dabbing your replica, and wiping it with the paint covered sponges. Alternate colors as desired.
5. Stop when your replica is half “covered” and inspect your work. Its easier to add more paint than remove paint
Pictures are worth several thousand more words.
